This New Year's I plan to celebrate in a more casual setting, free from the raging crowds, loud dance clubs and overflowing glasses of champagne. I am not necessarily opposed to such a night, but this year the freezing temps and perhaps my 30 year old age hold preference over a night-in then a rowdy night-out. Though my celebratory ways may side on a night in with friends, it doesn't mean my outfit needs to be shabby. Sequins are my favorite and New Year's Eve is a night to shine. Rather than dolling up in a New Year's Eve frock, I am choosing to cozy up in a sweater and find some other ways to sparkle on New Year's Eve Night.
A camel bootie tones down the formality of the overall outfit. I prefer these Stuart Weitzman for their comfort and style, but so many other designers came out with various styles that I've had my eye on for some time now.
There is nothing like a cozy knit that will keep you warm throughout the night's below 0 wind chill. These are some of my favorites that will keep you toasty as the night goes on.
A sequin mini is a great way to add sparkle and shine to your overall look. I am not necessarily opposed to wearing sequins all day, everyday, but New Year's is an especially good time to bring out the sequins. I found some great mini skirts from Topshop, Nordstroms and Asos in addition to some of my favs below.
That's a fab casual you got there dear! That skirt is sooo gorgeous!
