The New York Blonde is a New York City style blog focused on living your most stylish life in the Big Apple. The answer to “what to wear, for where you are going”, each article provides insight into living in the city with an emphasis on answering the tell-tale question: What do I wear? The blog originally started in 2015 as a style ode to New York through the eyes of creator Samantha. Samantha was inspired to create the blog when friends and family consistently inquired over where to go and what to wear in New York. She was viewed as an expert source as always having a pulse on the latest trends in food, fashion, bars and venues in the city. She was also cited as a style source and chose to fuse her two passions together to create The New York Blonde. Since graduating college seven years ago with a degree in Art History, Samantha has been working professionally in the fashion industry. Her love of fashion and style led to a career in buying, where she spent the last seven years working for both vertical and multi-category retailers.  Samantha’s love for New York has grown over the years, since first visiting the city with her family as a child and now living in Manhattan for the past six years as an adult. She credits Lauren Santo Domingo, Carolyn Bessette, and Gwyneth Paltrow as her main sources of style inspiration. She loves anything pink, feather accents, and sequin details. Her Instagram account (@thenyblonde) and her blog are meant to be style sources for living in the city.  Samantha lives with her fiancé in Lower Manhattan and is planning a 2017 wedding in New York City.
