I'm not going to lie, this season is my first official foray into New York Fashion Week. I never had a following large enough to warrant invites to fun events, flashy product launches and glamorous runway shows. Since this will be my first time bopping around the city for fashion week soirees, my wardrobe needs to be on point. Basic black outfits and casual denim was thrown to the wind when I was searching for looks for this iconic week in September.
This crazy week is also not complete without visiting the sceniest spots on the map including bars, restaurants and lounges where after parties go down and intermission drinks take place between shows.
THE BLOND
A staple among the fashion crowd, this sleek and sexy lounge inside the 11 Howard hotel takes the cake as the most stylish spot while wearing your most stylish look. This is perfect when heading back from an uptown show. Your sleek and sophisticated ensemble will match back to the glamorous plush, velvet couches and soft uplifting throughout. Plus, it is ideal for some good people watching. This Hellessy top paired with a pop pant is an ideal outfit for this occasion.
THE SPAINARD
Nestle up in this West Village gem before heading to Skylight Clarkson. A fairly new drinking joint on the scene, it has quickly ranked up bonus points for its whiskey drinks and American faire. Don some downtown vibes with a minimal top and bold bottom.
THE POOL
When the Four Seasons opens a newly restored restaurant, the fashion set is the first to make their visit. While the mainstay of the space is the richly created seafood menu, the owners spared no expense when designing the bar. Spot the many top-notch fashion editors who will make their cameos while heading to the many shows uptown. Forgo a pair of pants and wear a silky look like this midi and asymmetrical blouse.

All the outfits look really fashion week-appropriate! 👌 Can't decide which one I like the most. 😍 And I love your make-up. 😊
