1. The Romantic Date
For all you romantics out there - this one's for you! Are you heading to dinner to New York's most romantic restaurant, One if Land, Two if by Sea, or to a swanky uptown place like Marea? Either way, you are in for a very top notch meal. I've been to both spots, and I would most likely wear a conservative dress with some sex appeal. Here is a quick round-up of my faves I found while shopping for my very own Valentine's Day celebratory dinner.
If long dinners aren't your thing, no need to fret! Concerts and performances are always an option in the city that never sleeps. I would check out Sleep No More at the Mcctrick Hotel or grab a ticket at Irving Plaza for a legendary concert. Stick with the Valentine theme while rocking a silky blouse with a leather pant or major thigh-high boot.
3. The First Date
Ok, so your first date is on Valentine's Day- no worries! Back in college I actually had a first date on Valentine's Day, and it removed all the pressures from the so-called most romantic holiday of the year. Hopefully something like a drink at Employees Only or dinner at Barbuto has been scheduled, but if anything, it will probably be relaxed. Think your cool-girl denim and a pretty silk blouse with a heeled bootie.
SWEATER: Philosophy Di Lorenzo Serafini (also comes in this colorway) | PANTS: Hellessy (sold out, try these) | WATCH: Tory Burch | EARRINGS: Bauble Bar | SHOES: Aquazarra
Lovely and classy look ;)
