THE MOST "NEW YORK" THING TO DO THIS HOLIDAY SEASON

Nothing says Christmastime in New York City like heading to Radio City to see The Rockettes. This holiday tradition has been taking New York by storm since 1932. Basically, that means too many high kicks to count! Similar to my post, "Where to Go, What to Wear; Broadway Edition", a like-minded look will do for this cherished NYC show.

Like most New York gals heading to a weekday show, I'll be coming from a work event, which means I'll most likely be wearing a business casual look. Radio City Music Hall is a special place in the New York City stratosphere, and because of that, I'll be showing my utmost respect and forgo denim in place of a slip skirt. I prefer to layer during wintertime in the city, as opposed to wearing one large parka, so a heavy fisherman-like wool sweater on top of a t-shirt will do the trick. This neutral palette is ideal for morning meetings, and pairing it with this Tory Burch bag will add the texture and color needed to complete a more festive look. Not only is this an ideal outfit for The Rockettes, but I can seamlessly transition from an uptown show to a downtown date with my girlfriends in a New York minute.
