Christmas sweaters, jingle bell earrings and red bow broaches are not NYC holiday trends seen at your local NYC holiday party. New York fashionistas tend to gravitate toward more subtle holiday looks, incorporating festive attire with an edgy appeal. These 5 NYC fashion girl approved trends are sure-fire looks to feel your best during the holiday party circuit.
Absolutely the biggest trend of the season. Velvet is everywhere you look! I am especially loving velvet on heels. Head to Belle Reve on West Broaday for a pre-drink before bouncing over to The Roxy Hotel for some serious dancing at Paul's Cocktail Lounge while donning this sumptuous, festive fabric.
1. Pink on Pink
I am a big believer you can never have too much pink. Pale pink, bright pink, baby pink, whatever pink you favor is alright with me! Millennial pink was the thing this past year, and based on the Spring 2018 runways it doesn't have signs of stopping. Head uptown to the Hudson Hotel in your pinky attire to enjoy their snow globe themed roof deck in your festive attire.
2. Velvet
3. Colored Cozy Jackets
Only the coziest will do! Whatever color you are vibing will work for this super on-trend look. I've seen colorful coats all over the streets these past few weeks. This is the ultimate statement making piece for your holiday wardrobe! A classic item to stroll into Carbone for the ultimate Italian, holiday dinner.4. Statement Sneakers
I love a statement heel, so why not a statement sneaker? How amazing are these Golden Goose that I picked up at the Black Friday Shopbop sale? It is really hard for me to resist pink glitter, especially on such cool sneakers! I've rounded up a great group of sneakers below, which will be ideal for day drinking at Houston Hall during the holiday season.
5. Tassle Handbag
One of my favorite accessories for the holiday season includes these tassel handbags. Not only is it the perfect size for a holiday party, but it also serves as a bracelet! If you happen to be heading to the tree lighting in Rockfeller Center before your swanky, holiday soiree, the tassel handbag will serve all your partying needs.
Love all of these trends. My favourite are velvet pieces this holiday season! :)

Really glam looks you got here dear. My favorite would be the first one (pink on pink), such an effortlessly elegant and sophisticated style.

Absolutely stunning and elegant!A Trend I see nowadays with some guys, is that they are coming to the shopping mall barefoot with shorts. A trend I do not support. Any comment?
