BLOUSE: Eleanour Balfour (sold out, similar look here and here) | DENIM: Grlfrnd | HEELS: Sam Edelman | EARRINGS: Bauble Bar
I've been to countless hotels in the city, but The Loews Regency might be the one that truly resonates the New York city lifestyle. This is the ultimate spot for famed power-broker breakfasts, lunching ladies and a casual celebrity sighting. It is the type of place so many look to when searching for an upscale hotel on famed Serena Van Der Woodsen's territory.
I was incredibly fortunate to take over the Nate Berkus suite during my photo shoot. A mainstay for celebs and titans of industry, I too found a way to spend some time in the glorious space which is larger than most NYC apartments. Adorned with gold furnishings and a plush green, velvet couch, I was getting major design inspiration from every room.
The Upper East Side is unlike anywhere else in Manhattan. I've mentioned before that NYC neighborhoods each embrace their own identity and the UES has a personality in itself. The stereotypes are true here- think Birkin bags, Chanel flats and perfectly manicured makeup. Considering this is more the rule than the exception, your look will need to be in tip-top shape!
Wear: The Casual Look: I was loving this Eleanour Balfour yellow, velvet blouse paired with Grlfrnd denim. I felt very "at home" in this look and could easily take it downtown for drinks in the West Village. Jewel tones in soft fabrics are my absolute favorite! I found other styles that share the same concept as the Eleanour Balfour look from here, here and here. Plus teaming it with denim and this deep blue heel is nothing short of chic. Think of this as your downtown/uptown look.
A HUGE thank you to Loews Regency for access to the AMAZING Nate Berkus suite! For more information on staying at The Loews Regency visit: www.loewshotels.com
