You could certainly consider Shakespeare in the Park the theater highlight of the summer. When Broadway veterans and Hollywood stars gather for a two-week only performance at the famous Delacorte Theater in Central Park, New Yorkers take notice. This year Shakespeare's famous comedy A Midsummer Night's Dream will be staged from July 11th through August 13th each evening at 8 p.m. (exclusions apply, here for more details). With this being a cultural event of the season, your wardrobe must be on point and on-trend if you plan on attending. Forgo those daisy dukes, forget the flip-flops and don't think about wearing a baseball hat. Test out these fashionable styles to take you from day to evening theater:
The Go-To Dress
Finding something to wear to this summer event doesn't come much easier than in a dress. I especially love the ease of this linen number with a peplum waist and middle slit. Choose a lightweight fabric with a fun, summer print for this summer celebration.

The Two-Piece Jumpsuit
Based on my Instagram, it should be no surprise that I love a good monochromatic ensemble. A great two piece look in the same color immediately elevates your overall look. This all-over white outfit is not only in the hottest color of the season-but also unexpected and oh-so stylish.

The City Chic Separates
Pair your favorite top with your favorite summer skirt for a breezy ensemble. Couple the look with some fun heels and an embroidered clutch. Nothing should look too "done-up" or fancy.
