WHAT I'M PACKING FOR MY HONEYMOON

I cannot believe I am leaving for my honeymoon on Friday. For months I was anticipating my wedding, and now I am excitedly looking forward to my honeymoon. Our seven day vacation will start with a quick trip to Miami and then a luxurious stay off the island of Belize. After lot of wedding planning and stress, we can finally relax on a sunny beach.

Packing for a vacation is one thing, but packing for a honeymoon is a whole other ballgame. To be honest, I didn't plan far enough ahead so I had to improvise quickly when gathering my looks for the trip. I found some cute looks online with overnight shipping and started planning accordingly the Tuesday after my wedding.

My Travel Look
Nothing says luxury like a great jet setter look. I chose to wear this cashmere look from Raquel Allegra, which could easily double for cozy pajamas. I plan on pairing it with my Adidas boost and a heavy knit like this one. There is nothing better than feeling chic and sophisticated in your travel-leisure look.

Miami Nights
While I am still super undecided on this one, I know I will need to find something that works for both daytime and evening while in South Beach. We will be eating dinner at the Faena's Los Fuegos, a "jacket required" type of spot. I am thinking of pairing my Nili Lotan slip dress with jeweled flats and an evening earring to pump up the glam.

Belize Beach Time
The home run of the whole trip, we will be spending seven glorious days on a private island on our very own beach. Truly a heaven-like honeymoon, I am super eager for this beach side resort. Unlike other resorts, this spot caters to your every wish and happily serves breakfast, lunch and dinner to your villa. Knowing I will have limited interaction with the other guests, I chose to pack primarily swimsuits and cover ups. Why get all dressed up if I can remain in glamorous lounge clothing all day?
