WHERE TO GO, WHAT TO WEAR: MARIO BATALI'S LA SIRENA

When Mario Batali opens a new outpost in New York City, ears and eyes perk up ;especially considering he hasn't opened a new restaurant in the city in over ten years. The tony hot-spot, La Sirena is situated in the Maritime hotel, sandwiched between the swanky Chelsea neighborhood and the downtown darling, Meatpacking district. An art-deco designed hotel of sorts perfect for an Italian, Fellini-inspired interior designed restaurant.

The restaurant is broken into two separate sections, with a formal dining area in the back room, and a cocktail bar at the front foyer. T and I dined in the back room, but the foyer is where the party really begins. I rarely find large groups of fashionable folk in one area, but I couldn't help but gape at the crowd of creative types. That being said, I wanted to make note of what to wear for when hitting up this new spot on the 9th Avenue strip.

My new summer uniform of sorts, a slinky silk cami, easy denim and silk robe is my new go-to look for summertime dining. Not only is this perfect for this New York crowd, but the look is a culmination of all my favorites for the summer. Plus, I love accessorizing with a gold slide generally reserved for wedding guest looks and cocktail parties. Pairing this shoe with distressed denim makes it all that more glamorous. What makes this spot even better is their expansive menu consisting of breakfast, lunch and dinner. Basically, you can be glamorous at all times of the day and who doesn't want that?

  1. When a new game is traded in or sold to a game store, that money is then kept by the retailer rather than reaching the hands of the hardworking developer who spent blood, sweat and tears on creating their pride and joy.Adu Q
