JULY 4TH MUST HAVE OUTFIT

This July 4th, as in most July 4th's of the past, I will be heading to my parents beach house in New Jersey. Being from Philadelphia, the Jersey Shore is every Philly native's beach haven, as opposed to the native New Yorker's Hamptons. To many people the Jersey Shore is synonymous with Karma and Snookie , but the shore can be just as fashionable as any beach town, depending on what shore point you will be visiting. Beyond the sandy beach, I am most looking forward to wearing one of my favorite summery looks for dinner with friends by the bay.

FLOPPY HAT
First and foremost, protection from the sun should be your number one accessory to shield you from the summer sun during happy hour drinks. Find a fun floppy hat, like this one from Inverni to protect you against the harsh rays.

FEMININE TOP
Nothing says summer like a feminine blouse. Find a treatment that suits you best whether that be embroidered details, a floral print or ruffles. No matter the extra detail, it will be a super summery chic look. I love this style by Lord & Taylor, but there are many options to choose from.
